Tiffany Ownbey by Jared Tschoepe

Tiffany Ownbeys projects are based on what humans do with each other and stuff that she remembers. The scale and proportion is messed up because she wants to be known for attention. She makes creative sculptures out of different sewing patterns, old(classic) books and stuff that she finds lying on the ground or not being used. http://tiffanyownbey.com/home.html

  2. She does approach her sculptures in a unique fashion and it explains how attention is her main focus. Art is abstract and i think Tiffany really pushes those boundaries on how far abstract goes. Art really is a way where you can create things that cannot exist in the real world so by pushing those limits we can get a better understanding of what a person can really dream or imagine. In the case of the sculpture above I believe two things really show. One the attention being that is something unique and unseen and second being its difficulty in constructing especially the torso area and the hands all around it.

  3. Wow!!! This lady has some interesting art work. What I thought when I first saw the picture above was "thats creepy and wierd" but now I think thats what made the art simple to the artist and maybe to the other eyes that look at it.
